Rumours are circulating that actress Blake Lively, 23, has been chosen to be the face of Chanel’s newest handbag campaign.
An unnamed source told E! Online that the star was in Paris filming for the ad, and Coco Perez confirms that she was indeed spotted in the City of Lights on Friday (December 2). If reports are true, the ad campaign is set to launch early next year.
Lively, best known for her role as Serena van der Woodsen on the teen drama Gossip Girl, was spotted front row at the Chanel show during Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week in July, and in September, she was seen at the reopening of Chanel’s Soho store in New York.
After a small role in the 1998 film Sandman, directed by her father, Lively’s career was launched with her breakout role in 2005’s The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, which saw her nominated for a Teen Choice Award. Still appearing on Gossip Girl, she can next been seen on the big screen alongside Ryan Reynolds as DC Comics character Carol Ferris in the upcoming live-action Green Lantern movie.
