Usher chooses Canadian jewelry designs

R&B singer features Caroline Néron jewelry designs in videos and Montreal concert.

R&B superstar Usher has selected four designs from a jewelry collection designed by Quebec actress, singer, and fashion designer Caroline Néron, to incorporate into his concert performance last night (November 30) at the Bell Centre, reports the Journal de Quebec.

Néron was appreciative of the global visibility the international pop star has brought to her company, which employs a staff of 90 in nine stores across Quebec. Her jewelry designs were showcased during Fashion Week in Montreal, and generated a lot of buzz, attracting the attention of celebrities south of the border.

"Rave reviews crossed the border and two months ago, the Usher team asked to use four pieces for the songs Hot Tottie and Bad Girl. At first I didn’t believe it, and now here it is. The pieces that appear on screen in the videos are part of the collection featured in Usher’s world tour.”

Néron admits that the bar is very high in terms of gaining entrée into global jewelry market, but that Usher’s vote of confidence has given her renewed energy to continue building on her success.
