New album and tour for Duran Duran

All You Need is Now download available in December and CD in February.

Veterans of the new romantic wave of the 1980s, Duran Duran, are still going strong with the December release of their fourteenth studio album, All You Need Is Now, produced by Mark Ronson, also responsible for Amy Winehouse’s success.

“It’s the best record we’ve made in over two decades,” said keyboardist Nick Rhodes. Present at the birth of MTV, Duran Duran made a name for itself with high-quality videos often shot in exotic locations, and Rhodes promised more great videos for their latest album.

“One thing I can say is that we will be making videos for every track on the album, which is something we certainly haven’t done since the very beginning,” he revealed. “We feel that visual material and content now is actually becoming of value again.”

Fans will be pleased to note that Rhodes had one more great piece of news: “We’re going to be touring next year for sure. We haven’t announced anything yet, but this record is built for touring, so we’re definitely excited about that.”

All You Need Now is due out December 21 exclusively on iTunes, while the album CD will be available in February.
