Rock ā€˜nā€™ roll exhibit photos chosen by Graham Nash

Rochester exhibit photos selected by former CSNY band member.

From Elvis Presley to Johnny Cash, to Jimi Hendrix, Mick Jagger, Janis Joplin, Elton John, John Lennon, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, The Beatles, Nirvana and many others, an exhibition of photos selected by Graham Nash, capture some of the greatest moments in rock music history.

The task of selecting 98 images that best represented the biggest names in music fell to exhibit curator, Graham Nash of folk group Crosby, Stills and Nash, which eventually also included Neil Young in its ranks.

Taking Aim: Unforgettable Rock ‘n’ Roll Photographs selected by Graham Nash is showing until January 30, 2011 at the George Eastman House in Rochester, the oldest museum of photography in the world located in the former home of the founder of Kodak.

Contributing photographers include prominent people such as Anton Corbijn, Lynn Goldsmith, Annie Leibovitz and actor Dennis Hopper, who died earlier this year.
