Vera Wang has announced that Gossip Girl television star, Leighton Meester, is the face of her latest fragrance and will star in a new advertising campaign, reports Coco Perez.
The American designer believes Meester, 24, is the perfect girl for the campaign because her "beauty, talent and spirit will inspire all the young women that I hope will enjoy this passionate, new young fragrance."
The fragrance will be launched in summer 2011. Meester’s co-star, Blake Lively, is also a favourite in the beauty market and is the new brand ambassador for Herbal Essences hair care products.
