The latest Kate Moss for Topshop fashion collection was launched in stores and online yesterday (November 2). Although it was her final collection, Sir Philip Green, director of the Topshop retail empire, confirmed that there were plans to continue their collaboration.
Contrary to rumours in the media, Green said there was no drama between Topshop management and Moss that led to their separation. He explained that Moss is busy with other project and commitments, and stresses that they plan to reteam in the future.
Moss has been designing fashions exclusively for the chain’s 225 stores since May 2007. The fourteenth and latest collection pays tribute to the model’s style, featuring vintage dresses, bohemian floral prints, sequins and tweed.
Last September, it was suggested that Moss might be scaling down her participation and work directly with the Topshop design team to create occasional and limited edition pieces.
