Star-studded line-up for American Music Awards

Justin Bieber, Ke$ha and Katy Perry among artists performing.

The American Music Awards show has confirmed three more big names will be performing at its gala on November 21, which will be broadcast live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.

Newly announced artists include Justin Bieber, Ke$ha and Katy Perry—all nominated for Artist of the Year. Eminem and Lady Gaga are two other big names competing in this prestigious category. It has already been confirmed that Bon Jovi, Pink, and Usher will also be performing.

“As a small-town kid from Canada, I never imagined that I would be nominated for AMAs, let alone be performing on the show,” said Bieber, reports the Associated Press. The 16-year-old added that he felt “extremely humbled and honoured” by the invitation to play the show.

According to a statement, “Justin, Katy and Ke$ha have been on the top of the charts all year long. We are happy to see each of them make their own AMA history,” said AMA producer Larry Klein. Bieber is nominated in four categories, while Ke$ha and Perry are up for three awards. More presenters and performers will be announced in coming weeks.
