Donatella Versace announced that luxury fashion house Versace will launch a new fragrance called Vanitas, says Coco Perez.
The official launch date has not yet been revealed, although it is expected to come out in the latter half of 2012.
The fragrance is composed of notes of lime, freesia, tiare, tonka bean and cedar, and will target a clientele of age 30 and up. The scent is described as a more mature fragrance to be worn for special occasions and evenings.
The upscale brand says the ‘couture’ scent is in keeping with their Vanitas brand collection of handbags and sunglasses.
The advertising campaign will feature 16-year-old American model, Lindsey Wixson, modelling a Versace dress.
