Angelina Jolie’s drug past

Former drug dealer tells all to celeb gossip mag

Oscar-winning actress Angelina Jolie’s drug past has caught up with her as former drug dealer, Franklin Meyer, tells all to Life & Style celebrity gossip magazine.

Ten years ago, Meyer says the movie star used to do heroin and cocaine with him in New York City at either his Chelsea hotel room, or her apartment in the Ansonia.

On January 14, 2000, Meyer says she went straight from doing drugs to an appearance on The Charlie Rose Show to promote her new film Girl, Interrupted, for which she eventually won a best supporting actress Oscar.

“She was at my place. I was filming her and she’d taken coke,” Meyer said. “She went directly to do The Charlie Rose Show.”

During the Rose interview, Jolie reportedly appears shy and spacey, rambles about her tattoos, and is fidgety. According to Meyer, "She did the show, then she came back over!"

Jolie, 35, and her partner, actor Brad Pitt, 46, have six children. Her next film, The Tourist, a remake of the French comedy-thriller, co-stars Johnny Depp, and opens December 10.
