To prepare for her role as a teenage runaway who becomes a stripper in her latest film Welcome to the Rileys, Kristen Stewart visited a strip club in New Orleans with director Jake Scott. While on site, the manager offered her a job as a stripper.
“Like, I went to a strip club with the director and the costume designer and it being an odd grouping of people going into a strip club in the middle of the afternoon, I was straight-up offered a job,” said Stewart, 20.
The young film star also cruised the streets of New Orleans dressed in her character’s skimpy costumes, and was surprised at the amount of male attention she received.
Welcome to the Rileys will be released in a limited number of theatres October 29, with a wider release scheduled November 5.
