Famed singer Amy Winehouse, 27, has collaborated on a fashion collection with the Fred Perry label, and models her own collection, according to Orange News.
The British star worked with the brand’s directors, to produce her own line of clothing, including coats, sweaters and skirts. Winehouse has decided to model her own creations in an upcoming campaign in the November issue of Glamour.
“The collection I’ve done is so classic, because their style and my style are pretty much the same. Fred Perry is my be all and end all. I’ve always loved it, always worn it, and it feels like a living dream,” said Winehouse.
“I’m not an overconfident person, but I’m really sure about this collection.”
Winehouse turned her attention to designing after her ex-husband went to prison in 2008 for assault and obstruction of justice. “I went through a lot of trouble with my ex-husband, so I had such a long time to think about the collection.”
With the divorce final in August 2009, Winehouse has been linked to aspiring actor, Josh Bowman.
