Lady Gaga hires ghostbusters

Pop singer hires paranormal investigators to inspect her hotel rooms and tour venues.

Global pop phenomenon and eccentric performance artist, Lady Gaga, 24, has reportedly spent thousands of dollars having her hotel rooms scanned for evil spirits by a team of paranormal investigators before she feels comfortable staying there, according to thisislondon.co.uk.

The superstitious pop star believes she is the reincarnation of her dead aunt’s spirit, and fears evil spirits haunt her hotel rooms and tour venues to the extent that she has reportedly spent more than $47,000 U.S. for an expert paranormal team to ‘sweep’ these locations for her.

A source said: “She believes in paranormal activity and won’t take any risks when she is on the road. It’s important to her to be safe from spirits.”

The extravagant Gaga has spent more than $790,000 U.S. on a jet to carry her Monster Ball tour equipment and clothing—surely a business expense for the busy entertainer—and more than $23,000 for handmade Eastern European lace.

For her performance on UK’s The X Factor last year, the singer reportedly paid more than $82,000 U.S. for a bathtub to use in her act.

Earlier this week, it was reported Gaga has been thinking about buying an English castle—maybe it will come with its own bathtub and some pretty lace curtains.
