Rod Stewart gambles on Vegas

The crooner will sing for eight performances November 6 to 21.

For some, Las Vegas is about gambling, and for others, Las Vegas is the marriage and honeymoon capital of America. So if you’re planning a gambling junket or an elopement to Vegas this November, you may want to reserve a special evening with Maggie May crooner, Rod Stewart.

The rock legend, known for his charm with women, will perform eight concerts from November 6 to 21 November at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, originally built for Canadian singer, Céline Dion, according to soundspike.com.

Since then, Elton John, Cher, and Bette Midler have all enjoyed multi-year runs at the venue. Stewart wants to try it out before making a long-term commitment. Concert tickets will cost from $69 to $225 U.S.

The singer is also launching a new album on October 19 called Fly Me to the Moon: The Great American Songbook, Vol. V.

As an incentive, fans can pre-order the album from rodstewart.com and get a password to pre-order tickets for the Vegas shows.
