Robyn returns to North America

Fans and critics are eagerly awaiting the return of this Swedish sensation.

Robyn has not released an album since 2005. To make up for lost time, the Swedish singer decided to release three albums in one year. She just announced a series of North American shows, two in Canada.

The singer experienced a lot of success at the beginning of the millennium with her style of dance music. She then tried out a new sound on her record label who turned her down.

The artist went her own way and, with full artistic control, worked on her ideas. She made enough music for three albums. She has already released two of the three this year.

Body Talk, Part 1 wowed critics and Body Talk, Part 2 received positive reviews when it was released last week. Body Talk, Part 3 is expected at the end of November.

Robyn makes two stops in Canada, one in Toronto on November 12 and a second show in Vancouver on November 19.

The 31-year old had a brief performance at last week’s MTV Video Music Awards. She heads out on a tour of the U.S. and Canada beginning on November 5 in Miami. The tour wraps up on November 23 in San Francisco.

The singer will likely pick up even more fans soon thanks to a popular American television series. She told MTV News: "I did Gossip Girl yesterday, though, to be honest, I don’t know a lot about it, because I’m Swedish."
