She created two collections for Gap Kids. Now Coco Perez reports designer Stella McCartney finally launches her own capsule children’s collection.

McCartney wanted to create a collection that was both wearable and affordable.

She commented: "I feel like all the timeless children’s wear is reserved for the expensive brands and that did not sit well with me, kids and parents, aunts, uncles, friends, should all be able to have access to Stella McCartney Kids clothes. We have tried to make that possible in this first collection, and hope it is enjoyed!"
 
Stella McCartney Kids will be available mainly online as of November 3.
 
McCartney is pregnant with her fourth child right now and due to give birth at the end of the fall. The 38-year old already has three children, Miller, 5, Bailey, 3 and a half, and Beckett, 2 and a half. She has been married to editor Alasdhair Willis since 2003.
