There were reports last week that actress Jennifer Aniston may have a new boyfriend after she was spotted dining out with Cougar Town actor Josh Hopkins. However, Hopkins says it was simply an enjoyable meal among friends.
He participated in the Nautica Malibu Triathlon yesterday (September 12) and spoke to People magazine after the race. "No, no, we’re just friends – just friends having dinner. There’s a lot of friends I’d less rather go to dinner with."
Josh Hopkins says he is single and explained how he worked with Jennifer Aniston when she made a guest appearance on his television show. He had previously met the actress because she is the best friend of Cougar Town star Courtney Cox.
Hopkins said: "They are like best friends so [filming] was such a joy and I know they were having so much fun."
He also added that it was his 40th birthday and he was heading over to Cox’s home for a barbecue.
