Prince of Darkness heads north

Ozzy Osbourne announces a 12-concert run that includes eight stops in Canada.

Ozzy Osbourne will descend on the Air Canada Centre in Toronto on November 27. The Prince of Darkness just announced a 12-stop North American tour that includes eight shows in Canada.

He will be accompanied by Rob Halford who will be the opening act at all Canadian stops. Halford was the lead singer of Judas Priest for nearly 20 years before he left the group to pursue a solo career. He returned to the group in 2005 to record two albums.

Ozzy recently released the album Scream. Fans will be able to pick up a new version of that album on October 5. The new version will be a double album that contains new songs and some live recordings.

Osbourne’s eight Canadian dates take place from November 12-27. Here is the schedule:

November 14 – Vancouver – Rogers Arena
November 16 – Calgary – Pengrowth Saddledome
November 18 – Edmonton – Rexall Place
November 20 – Winnipeg – MTS Centre
November 23 – Montréal – Centre Bell
November 25 – Ottawa – Scotiabank Place
November 27 – Toronto – Air Canada Centre
