People reports Jessica Simpson got a little help from her famous family and friends as she showed off her design talents this week in the Big Apple.
The star kicked off New York Fashion Week by hosting a private party yesterday (September 7) to celebrate the launch of her denim collection.
With family and friends on hand including sister Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and BFF television personality Cacee Cobb, Jessica Simpson wanted to show guests how her jeans fit every shape and size.
Guests were treated to an exclusive preview of the new Spring 2011 collection by Jessica Simpson and also received their own pair of jeans. Ms. Simpson invited everyone to upload a picture of themselves wearing the new jeans to her Facebook page. People added: "For each uploaded image, Jessica will make a $1-donation to her A Beautiful Me initiative, which aims to inspire self-esteem in the lives of young people."
Jessica Simpson’s boyfriend, Eric Johnson, 30, was also in attendance, along with her brother-in-law, Pete Wentz, 31.
