Estée Lauder announced it will launch a special collection in October to do its part in the fight against breast cancer. The collection will be accompanied by an awareness campaign and money raised will be donated to the cause.
The Pink Ribbon line offers several products.
First off, there’s the Evelyn Lauder Lip Design collection. Evelyn Lauder hand-picked the shades for this exclusive set. The boxes in this set are coloured metallic pink to highlight the cause.
There’s also the Elizabeth Hurley Lip Design collection. The shades in this limited edition set were selected by Elizabeth Hurley. It consists of two dual-ended lip glosses, four shades in all, and comes with a pink croc-print clutch.
The line also offers a jewelled pink ribbon pin covered with 20 pink crystals. It comes in a Pink Ribbon box.
To mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Estée Lauder’s long-lasting Double Wear foundation will come in pink packaging as well.
The Estée Lauder website reveals: "Estée Lauder will donate $100,000 from the Pink Ribbon Collection to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation® dedicated to preventing breast cancer and finding a cure in our lifetime, by funding clinical and translational research in North America."
