Snoop Dogg enjoyed working with Katy Perry on her single California Gurls. The international hit was a real summer anthem and now sits at the top of the iTunes singles chart.
The rapper said: "We’re trying to get together and do something on my new album … so [I’m] definitely in contact with her. She’s a sweet girl and I had fun making the record with her. Like I said, I’m looking forward to her being on my record as well."
Snoop Dogg is working on Doggystyle 2: The Doggumentary, a sequel to the highly successful Doggystyle which appeared back in 1993. He wants to get the I Kissed a Girl singer on board for a second collaboration.
No word yet on where she would fit in to his new album. Dogg revealed last week: "This is Snoop Dog coming at you live from the mother*****g stiznudio somewhere with Swizzle. He just laced my boots up on my new record. Motherf****r gave me some gangsta s**t, some R ‘n’ B s**t, some hip-hop s**t, some hard s**t, some mean s**t."
