Rod Stewart offered some very public advice to Paris Hilton. The Maggie May singer has a daughter the same age as Hilton and knows the heiress personally.
He told Britain’s Daily Telegraph: "She’s a lovely girl. She was friends with Kimberley but I don’t think they see each other anymore. I’ve always found her tremendously polite and very respectful, but, you know, it’s time to move on perhaps, give up the drugs."
Hilton was arrested and charged with felony drug possession after a bag of cocaine fell out of her purse in front of Las Vegas police. She and boyfriend Cy Waits were driving down Sin City’s infamous strip when their car was stopped.
Waits was charged with driving under the influence after police smelled marijuana smoke wafting out the window.
Paris Hilton could face up to four years in prison if convicted on these charges. She denies the drugs were hers and says she borrowed the handbag from a friend.
However, there are reports Hilton posted a photo of the very same purse on Twitter in July. She tweeted: "Love My New Chanel Purse I got Today. :)"
