A new Bob Dylan compilation

This fall, Bob Dylan to launch The Withmark Demos: 1962-1964, a new installment in his  Bootleg Series.

 

Bob Dylan fans will get their hands on some new old recordings this fall, reports Spinner. The Witmark Demos: 1962-1964, a new compilation of Dylan recordings, will be available October 19.

This will b the ninth installment in Dylan’s Bootleg Series. The title refers to one of his first two record publishers, Mr. Witmark & Sons, and will contain material recorded before he was 24 years old.

This album is made up of  two discs containing not less than 48 songs, including older versions of Mr. Tambourine Man, Girl From The North Country, A Hard Rain’s A-Gonna Fall and Blowin’in the Wind, before they become classics. 15 of the tracks from these recording sessions have never been available to the public before.

And that’s not all for Dylan fans this fall: Also, the first eight Bootleg Sessions will be reissued in their original mono recordings.
