Country star Taylor Swift will release her next album on October 25. People magazine reports she unveiled the cover of the new album yesterday (August 18).
Speak Now has 14 songs that are all close to Swift’s heart. She explains: "These songs are made up of words I didn’t say when the moment was right in front of me. These songs are open letters."
The award-winning singer went on to say: "Each is written with a specific person in mind, telling them what I meant to tell them in person."
Speak Now is the highly anticipated follow up to her second album Fearless. That album won a multitude of awards and was the top-selling album of 2009.
Taylor Swift will attend the MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles. The show airs live at 9 pm on September 12. She is nominated for Best Female Video for her song, Fifteen.
