Actress Scarlett Johansson is in talks to join the cast of Old St. Louis which begins shooting in October. Vince Vaughn has already signed on to play the male leading role in this David O. Russell film.
Old St. Louis features Vaughn as a divorced travelling toy salesman on a cross-country business trip with his secretary (Johansson). Also along for the ride is the daughter with whom he recently reconciled.
13-year old actress Chloe Moretz (Kick-Ass) will play the troubled daughter who re-enters Vaughn’s life. Unbenownst to her, the sexy secretary is having an affair with her father.
Scarlett Johansson was supposed to play a lead role in the upcoming film Gravity. She replaced Angelina Jolie in Alfonso Cuarón’s sci-fi project which also stars Johansson’s Iron Man 2 co-star Robert Downey Jr. However, there is now a question mark about her participation in that sci-film. Time will tell if it fits into Johansson’s packed schedule.
