Ozzy keeps it in the family

Ozzy Osbourne proves nepotism is alive and well in the world of rock.

Ozzy Osbourne has another music video in the works and did not have far to look to find a director. The Prince of Darkness hired his son Jack to shoot the video for the song Life Won’t Wait.

Osbourne’s offspring has been working on a career in film for the past few years. Jack formed the company Jacko Productions and is also working on a film about his famous father’s life called Wreckage of My Past. He was one of the film’s executive producers, along with his mother (and longtime Ozzy manager), Sharon.

Jack Osbourne explained what he hopes to accomplish with this film: "I’m trying to paint a realistic picture of who my father is. I think The Osbournes to a degree, tarnished the public’s perception of my dad as a bit of a senile, funny, bumbling guy." OK, it kinda did that.

The aspiring filmmaker added: "Yeah, my dad can be that guy, but it’s not him. I think that almost discredited who he is as an artist. My dad’s not an idiot — he’s nothing short of a genius, in my opinion. He does have huge flaws, and we’re trying to really paint an honest picture of that."
