The fashion world is becoming more and more accessible to plus-sized women. Saks Fifth Avenue will soon offer plus-sized couture clothes by Chanel and Alexander McQueen to its selection.
Now Coco Perez reports it is designer Marc Jacobs’ turn to join the club. Robert Duffy is Jacobs’ business partner. He talked about the subject on the company’s Twitter page last weekend.
Duffy confirmed: "We are in talks now. For plus sizes. Listen, we are in the very beginning stages of talking to a partner about plus sizes. Relax. It won’t be based on the collection line."
The 6 foot, 4 inch, 210 lb. Duffy added: "Your right. We gotta do larger sizes. I’m with you. As soon as I get back to NY. I’m on it! It will take me about a year. But stay with us."
