Shakira unveiled the ad for her new fragrance called S by Shakira, People reports. The singer talked about the scent and commented: "The type of women who feel a connection with this fragrance would be independent and strong, but also a woman with a great capacity to love and a strong sense of who they are. It’s for a woman who believes in herself."
The Colombian star worked with Puig with the goal of creating a fragrance that represented her simplicity and sensuality. She revealed that she was actively involved in the process in order to properly capture her youthful spirit.
She said: "Like one of my songs, I wanted S by Shakira to tell a story, and to be something personal and unique. A perfume has to really reflect something inside you, make you connect with it in an emotional way."
The fragrance contains notes of jasmine, sandalwood, benzoin, amber accord and vanilla. It will be available in 15, 30 and 50 ml sizes.
Shakira also promised: "S by Shakira is only the beginning! There is definitely more to come!"
