New Eddie Vedder song for Eat, Pray, Love soundtrack

Pearl Jam frontman Vedder has written another movie-soundtrack song.

Eddie Vedder, frontman for the band Pearl Jam, wrote a piece for Eat Pray Love, the new feature film starring Julia Roberts, according to the NME website.

Called Better Days, the song is the first single off the soundtrack, which opens in theaters August 13.

The soundtrack will also feature The Long Road, a song originally written for the 1996 movie Dead Man Walking starring Sean Penn, for which Vedder had worked with Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. 

The Eat, Pray, Love soundtrack also includes
songs by Marvin Gaye, Neil Young, Bebel Gilberto, Joao Gilberto, Josh Rouse and Dario Marianelli. It will be available in stores August 10.
