Hermès is set to launch its new traveling companion, a special bag designed Gabriele Pezzini, the design director of the house, reports Le Blog Luxe.
Named Orion, the new bag is part of the brand’s summer collection.
The bag is made from a brushed anodized aluminum shell and the interior is reinforced with carbon and Kevlar.
These materials were chosen so that the bag is resistant to heat, shear and elongation.
As for the handles, they are made of leather, in the Hermès tradition.
Pezzini has stated that his principal concern in the creation of this bag was its resistance to wear, as well as the considerations of functionality and aesthetic qualities.
The Orion bag will be available exclusively in Hermès boutiques worldwide.
