A new Elvis album will see the light

Viva Elvis, a new record, will commemorate The King’s Vegas years.

Elvis Presley, who would have turned 75 this year, has a new record nearly 33 years after his death on August 16, 1977.

His movie career was going strong in the mid-1960s, when he also signed a permanent contract in Las Vegas. Soon, his schedule was so packed with nightly appearances in his Vegas stage revue that he became exhausted and turned to medication to stay on top of things.

Viva Elvis will commemorate The King’s decade-long stand in the gaming capital of the world, with a track list that includes hits played before millions of adoring fans during the Vegas years. These include Burning Love, Suspicious Minds, Blue Suede Shoes and, of course, It’s Now or Never which defined that era.

Fans of the King, can register at feature.legacyrecordings.com / elvis-viva to be notified when the album will be released.
