According to a recent British study, researchers found women in their late twenties or early thirties are considered more attractive than girls of 18 or 19.
The results come from an opinion survey that was conducted among 2,000 men and women. The findings suggest that beauty is based on personality as well as appearance.
Some beautiful women in Britain who are presently "in their prime" at 31-years old include TV presenter Christine Bleakley, singer and dancer Alesha Dixon and lingerie model and TV presenter Danielle Lineker.
When study participants were questioned about the age when women are most attractive, many participants chose 31 years than any other age.
For 70% of people, the beauty is defined by being confident. 67% of respondents said it was about having good looks while 47% felt it was about being stylish.
