John Legend’s dream duets

Ordinary People singer wants to team up with Beyoncé.

Ordinary People singer John Legend has worked with some of the biggest names in music, including Kanye West, Fergie, and the late Michael Jackson.

Legend is always on the lookout for collaborations and recently talked about some duets he wants to make happen. A few of the artists he would love to work with next include Beyoncé and Amy Winehouse.

The singer told the Huffington Post: "Usually I’m a fan of their work on some level and I think we could make something great together, and it’s usually just a phone call away and a little bit of scheduling and we usually make it happen."

He went on to reveal: "I have a few people that I’d love to write for or write with, like Amy Winehouse would be fun. Beyoncé would be cool too, just to name a few."

John Legend’s recent collaboration with hip hop band The Roots drops in September. Wake Up is a call to action album that aims to empower youth. Wake Up Everybody is the album’s first single and features Common and Melanie Fiona.
