Pink Floyd back on track

David Gilmour will join Roger Waters on one surprise tour stop.

They said they would never perform together again. Well, they did and apparently the best is yet to come.

Roger Waters and David Gilmour recently reunited for a charity event for the Hoping Foundation. They performed the Teddy Bears song To Know Him Is To Love Him, plus the Pink Floyd classics Comfortably Numb, Wish You Were Here and Another Brick in the Wall, Part 2.

It was Gilmour’s funny idea to perform that first song together since, as Waters put it: "what with us having been so famously at each other’s throats for years and years."

Roger Waters is heading out on The Wall tour in the fall. David Gilmour will join him for a song on one of the tour stops, destination currently unknown. The plan was arranged before that UK charity event.

Waters posted on his Facebook page about the deal. Gilmour told him: "If you do To Know Him Is To Love Him for The Hoping Foundation Gig, I’ll come and do ‘C. Numb’ on one of your Wall shows."

Here’s hoping that one stop is Toronto on either September 15, 16 or 18, Montreal on October 19 or 20 or Vancouver on December 10.
