Montreal’s Lilith Fair show found itself on the chopping block last week (July 1). It joins Dallas, Phoenix, Salt Lake City and others that are now off the tour.
Some of the artists that were scheduled to perform in Montreal have been switched to other locations still on the schedule.
Lilith co-founder Terry McBride issued a statement last week, saying: "Everyone involved with the tour would like to apologize to the fans and artists scheduled to play in these markets, and express appreciation for all the support for the festival’s return."
Lilith Fair was the top grossing tour of the year when it started in 1997. This time around, it has been having major problems like selling tickets, filling large venues and generally getting the word out that it is back after a long break.
Ticket holders of the Montreal and other cancelled shows can get a refund at the point of purchase.
