Pete Wentz is the former bassist of Fall Out Boy. The band released five studio albums starting in 2003 before deciding to call it quits in 2009.
Along the way, the band chalked up several hit songs, including Dance, Dance and This Ain’t a Scene, It’s an Arms Race.
Wentz has been busy on the personal front. He is married to Ashlee Simpson and they have a 2-year old son, Bronx Mowgli.
As for his professional career, he has been riding solo. He wrote on his Twitter page earlier this year: "Can’t imagine playing in FOB again.(sic). As a band we grew apart. Letting go of this giant part of my life has been hard."
It looks like the solo phase is over. Pete Wentz revealed he started a new band with a different sound than fans may be used to. The electro-pop band is called Bl4ck C4rds.
He made the announcement on his blog and offered fans a link to the group’s website where fans will find a one-minute audio clip.
Wentz added a note: "If you enjoy it, keep coming back. if its not for you than we understand."
