Singer Shakira followed in the footsteps of celebrities who launch their own fragrance. Coco Perez reports she introduced S by Shakira in Spain.
The Colombian star revealed that she actively participated in the creative process to really capture the youthful spirit for which she is known and which stimulates her imagination.
The singer said: "As in a song, a scent is made up of different notes, singles, which together form a harmony."
The fragrance by Shakira is described as a fragrance for all women worldwide who are inspired by dreams and have a positive energy, breathing love and inner beauty.
The S by Shakira bottle is made from high-quality crystal which reflects every colour when viewed from various angles.
Shakira was just in South Africa to perform at the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup. She commented afterward: "That was amazing… one of the most memorable moments – of not only my career but of my life. It was just so emotional. I think that the fact that the World Cup is taking place in Africa just makes it extra special. South Africa is also a country that has so much history and it was just one of those moments I’m sure I’ll never forget."
