Bryan Adams will perform in his hometown

The international superstar returns home for a special performance.

The Pacific National Exhibition in Vancouver is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. It is hosting a series of Summer Night Concerts to mark the centennial.

The PNE has lined up an impressive list of internationally-renowned artists to perform. Things start off with a bang on August 21 with an opening night concert featuring one of the best-selling Canadian artists in history. Bryan Adams is coming home to Vancouver and will be joined on stage by The Beach Boys.

Bryan Adams just finished a five-month tour south of the border. He is playing four shows in South Africa before returning to Canada to headline celebrations at the PNE.

The organizers of Summer Night Concerts wanted to offer something for everyone visiting the popular fairground. Other big names scheduled to perform include Joan Jett and The Blackhawks, Canadian country star Terri Clark, Michael Bolton and Cindy Lauper.  Kevin Costner fans will get a chance to see the actor rock out with his band Modern West.
