Ozzy Osbourne is lovin’ every minute

Ozzy Osbourne reveals he will never retire from music.

Rocker Ozzy Osbourne says he will never retire from the music biz. Music-News reports he plans to live every minute like it was his last.

The 61-year old singer will launch his tenth solo album this month, Scream, and is getting ready to go out on tour. He plans to appreciate every moment of every day because he now sees how quickly time flies.

He admits his attitude about life changed recently following the death of Ronnie James Dio, his Black Sabbath successor, as well as Slipknot bassist Paul Gray.

He says, "When I was 20 I thought I had the rest of my life. At 30 I was still relatively young. At 40 I was getting a bit dodgy. When you get to 60 you’re on the downward slide. I’m 61 now. In the past month so many guys I know have died. Ronnie James Dio died of cancer, a guy from Slipknot killed himself… you have to live for each minute."

Osbourne confides he will likely never retire because what he does is not a job for him.

He adds, "I can’t say what I do is a job. I don’t have to get up and go in traffic jams every morning. It’s a relatively easy life I have. Some people think Sharon pushes me to go on tour. My wife does not push me out on stage."

There was news recently that scientists are studying Ozzy Osbourne’s DNA in order to determine how he has remained alive despite years of alcohol and drug abuse.
