Air Canada adds a new flight between Paris and Montreal

The airline responds to an increased seasonal demand to visit the City of Light.

Each year, hundreds of thousands of people fly to Europe from Canada. Paris is often one of the cities on their itinerary, a favourite destination for Quebecers.

To meet increased seasonal demand, Air Canada will begin operating an additional daily flight to Paris from Montreal on June 25.

This flight will be operated by a B767-300 aircraft that is equipped with 24 business class seats and 187 seats in the economy class.

The extra service will run until September 6 when Air Canada will return to its one daily flight for the rest of the year.

Air Canada will also provide an additional flight between Paris and Vancouver during this time on an aircraft of the same type. There is a scheduled stop in Montreal.

France has been the most visited country in the world for many years. It welcomed 74.2 million visitors from all over the world in 2009. The United States ranked second with 54.9 million visitors. Spain ranked third with 52.2 million, 1.3 million more than China, while Italy rounds off the top 5 with 43.2 million visitors last year.
