Singer Beyoncé is laying low and not saying a word about those rumours she is pregnant with her first child.
The Daily News reports the star fed the rumours when her and husband Jay-Z missed the Tony Awards after-party.
The popular couple were at the award show but didn’t show up at the Hudson Terrace party. Alcohol ran free and people were smoking everywhere, two things pregnant women want to avoid.
Beyoncé’s spokesperson, Yvette Noel-Schur, responded to the rumours in an email: "There is no comment on our client’s private life."
The speculation about a stork visit began several months ago. In March, Beyoncé said she was not pregnant but a website claimed: "According to our source, Beyoncé is doing well and resting at the moment, but plans to continue working during her pregnancy. Jay-Z is said to be extremely happy to be having his first child with Bey."
The 28-year old singer talked about her desire to start a family with her 40-year old hubby in the past. She revealed she wanted things to happen naturally.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z got married in April 2008 in an intimate ceremony.
