Lady Gaga speaks out

Lady Gaga defends the video she made for the song Alejandro.

According to various sources, Lady Gaga is defending her new video for the song Alejandro. The video has received a lot of criticism due to its use of religious images and bold suggestive scenes.

The star has called the video "a celebration and admiration of gay love" and it has already been viewed countless times on the Internet. In some scenes, Gaga is engaged in a sex act on a bed with a semi-naked dancer.

Gaga also wears a red latex nun’s outfit and looks to be swallowing a rosary. The video includes nods to Madonna’s famous videos from the 1980s, Vogue and Like A Prayer.

In the U.S., several religious groups are appalled and have even campaigned against the video. Leaders of the American Catholic League issued a statement criticizing the efforts of the eccentric artist in her most recent video.

Lady Gaga, 24, responded to the protests, insisting she was not angry because of the negative comments she was receiving.
