Jimmy Page keeps making music

The legendary guitarist is working on new material right now.

Jimmy Page told the BBC that he is working on new material right now and if all goes well it will be released by the end of the year.

The legendary Led Zeppelin guitarist made the remarks yesterday (June 10) evening at the Mojo Awards in London where he was inducted into the famous music magazine’s Hall of Fame.

Page has never talked much about his personal life or professional projects. He confirmed last night that he signed a contract with IE Management, a UK artist management company that includes Robbie Williams, Sia and Archive.

He explained: "I’m just looking forward to making some music and surprising people with it. It won’t be just teaming up with lots of people who are [big] names. I’ve got an idea of something which I’ve had for a long time and now’s the time to do it."

In 2008, Jimmy Page took part in the documentary It Might Get Loud on the history of the electric guitar.
