The singer is getting ready to make her acting debut in this film that also stars Cher and Kristen Bell. Aguilera plays the role of an erotic dancer.
When the star cancelled her American tour recently, she said she wanted to wait before heading out on the road. She thought her fans needed time to get to know the songs. Now she claims her film role was a big factor in postponing the tour.
Aguilera stated: "I’m such a perfectionist. I’m not doing something unless I give my all. I haven’t had time to think about the tour, what with the film. The tour is postponed. But it’s definitely going to happen."
Fans need not worry. They will get the chance to see Christina Aguilera perform live again.
She launched her new album this week (June 8). Bionic is her first release since becoming a mother and taking some time off to spend with her young son.
