Singer Alanis Morissette and 30-year old rapper Souleye made it official on May 22. People reports they tied the knot in an intimate ceremony surrounded by their families at their Los Angeles home.
Morissette confirmed the news on her Twitter page. She wrote: "So happy to share with you that my man Souleye and I got married. We’re very excited to embark on this journey with each other…"
Alanis Morissette got married one week before her 36th birthday. It is a first marriage for both the singer and the rapper. The couple has been dating since 2009.
The Canadian singer was previously engaged to actor Ryan Reynolds. They dated from 2004 to 2007. Reynolds is now married to actress Scarlett Johansson who he started to date shortly after his break-up with Morissette.
