Italian jeweller Damiani has already designed earrings for Jil Sander. Now the luxury house launches a jewellery collection for the new season for John Galliano.
The collection offers five pairs of earrings, a ring as well as a long necklace, all inspired by the Galliano universe and presenting a mix of styles and periods.
Damiani has opted for asymmetry. Each of the earrings is unique and different from its pair.
The jewellery is encrusted with precious coloured stones that add a gypsy touch.
The idea behind this collaboration was to revisit classic jewellery codes and offer jewellery that was both precious and modern.
The Damiani for John Galliano collection will be available starting June 15 at John Galliano boutiques.
Damiani is the jeweller who made the one-of-a-kind wedding rings for Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston’s wedding in 2000.
