Three new attractions at Parc de la rivière Bastican

Parc de la rivière Bastican sends you through the trees.

As of Friday, June 11, Parc de la rivière Batiscan offers visitors a completely new range of activities that will send them into the top reaches of the park.

Three new adventures will be offered in its Via Batiscan package.

You can do one, two or all three. First is the Via ferrata, a course developed all along a mountainside. Visitors make their way along the rock-face wall 200 metres up, secured by a safety harness, putting each foot on a section of rock whose main qualification is certainly not its width. The height could cause many to break into a sweat.

The second activity is ziplines through the park. Like the Via ferrata, you are held in place safely by a safety harness. The zipline takes you from tree to tree, feet hanging free. The longest zipline is 165 metres long.

The last activity is a treetop course developed especially for kids. It introduces them to the activity at their own speed and lets them have fun without slowing people down.

There are rates for students, families and groups. There is a reduced rate offered from Monday to Friday as well as for people camping in Parc de la rivière Batiscan.
