Lady Gaga admits she makes up stories to keep her personal life private.

Singer Lady Gaga reveals that she lies all the time about her personal life in interviews in order to protect her personal relationships, Orange News reports.
 
The pop star doesn’t divulge a lot of information about her personal life, saying she would rather focus on her career. She admits to telling lies to preserve a bit of privacy.
 
The singer states: "The discrepancy between private and public life: I believe as an artist, being private in public is at the core of the aesthetic, the message. However, I profusely lie about my personal relationships in an effort to protect that aesthetic and that message."
 
She adds that these lies distract people with insignificant matters.
 
Gaga also admits she sometimes breaks down in tears when she leaves the stage. Or does she? She explains she feels a certain freedom when the spotlight is gone, a profound moment of honesty that makes her feel very emotional.
