Kenzo celebrates 40 years

Kenzo offers special models to highlight its four decades of existence.

Kenzo, founded by Kenzo Takada, celebrates 40 years of life and style this year. The brand is launching a collector’s series of scarves, bags and t-shirts at affordable prices.

The first Kenzo fashion show was held at the Vivienne Gallery in Paris in 1970. One year later, the brand’s collections were being introduced to New York and Tokyo.

Several years after that, the label passed into the hands of LVMH, which expanded with a ready-to-wear brand for women, men and children, perfume and cosmetics, as well as a decorating brand.

The house of Kenzo is now led by Antonio Marras who always tries to maintain the spirit of Kenzo Takada.

For its 40th anniversary, the house decided to offer a re-edition of the floral print that made it famous in hues of bright pink.
