Air Canada adds more American destinations

The airline opens four new destinations out of Toronto.

Air Canada is continuing to consolidate its position as the ideal United States-bound carrier. To do so, it has added four new links between Uncle Sam and the city of Toronto.

By adding the cities of Cincinnati (Ohio), Memphis (Tennessee), Syracuse (New York) and Portland (Maine), each with two round-trips per day, the Canadian airline, with its subsidiary Air Canada Jazz and a third partner, will now offer 233 daily flights to 55 U.S. destinations from six airports in the country.

Passengers on flights to Memphis and Cincinnati will fly on Air Canada Jazz while passengers going to Syracuse and Portland will fly on Air Georgian. That’s a company headquartered in Mississauga, Ontario, which has a strategic alliance with Air Canada.

Air Canada also announced it will offer four new flights to Europe this summer, three from Toronto and one from Montreal. Travellers can fly directly to Athens, Barcelona and Copenhagen from Toronto, while the flight from Quebec’s largest city will be to Brussels, Belgium.
