Karl Lagerfeld teamed up with the Optic 2000 brand to create a collection of eyewear and sunglasses.
This sunglasses and eyewear collection by Karl Lagerfeld will be available starting June 1 until August 31.
Lagerfeld advised brand designers, Christian Roth and Éric Domège, throughout the creation of these new frames. There are several types available.
The collection will offer 55 models in all, composed of a variety of high-quality materials. Featured will be hand-etched designs, graphic signatures affixed to metal plates and rings decorated with original metal temple tips, basically something for everyone.
There are also some more different and unique models, frames with names like Vintage Rock, Rivet, Butterfly Knot, Zip and Axe.
Didier Papaz is president of Optic 2000. He says, "Karl Lagerfeld is a leader in fashion. Optic 2000 is a leader in the distribution of optical equipment, we were made to meet each other and build a beautiful story together."
A short black and white ad was made using photos taken by Lagerfeld. It will appear online June 1.
